I'm in need of some new U Joints for my wimpy hi pinion dana 30, I've been looking for the deal of a lifetime on a d44, but that day hasn't arrived. So for now I'm just going to fresh-n up what I've got. What is a good brand to go with other than Autozone specials? ~hammer

Rumor is that the one's from Napa are Spicers in Napa packaging.  Otherwise you have to buy them online.

Some guy on pirate turned me on to this site: http://completeoffroad.com/
and I found a complete set of chrome-moly axles with 760x u joints and a mfg. full warranty for $379 free shipping.
I inquired about the mfg. of the shafts and waiting to hear back from them. ~punk

East County Driveshaft usually has them available, good folks

Some of the Worldwide auto parts carry Spicer but they seem to be inconsistent as which store stocks them, and, they may heave them one day and then not.

I've heard the same about the NAPA Gold, I've used them before and have no complaints

Turns out the axle shafts are made by Yukon.
I went ahead and ordered a set today. I'll give them a good stress test ~punk

I was sent an email on this topic today so I thought I'd better follow up on it.

So far so good. I've been put it to them. Running 37s with a locker.  Ran Bronco Peak Connector last saturday in 4lo all the way, had to back up some rocks a few times. 760s U-joints look fine. I keep an eye out for the caps to spin. nothing as of yet. I've got about six hard wheeling trips on them. Several easy trips.  punk
