I've just been informed that some of my welding... well all of my welding... my engineering and my fabricating are likely to fail and result in a fatality to someone somewhere.

This has me very worried. Sleepless actually.

I need someone to come up here and check it out and give some advice... if not more.

I am totally discouraged.

It cant be that bad!  Chances of death in a stock vehicle without a cage is unlikley... It is a vehicle being engineered? Not a building? ~clap ~punk ~rockon Pics

I got the parts: the reinforcing plates for the frame where the steering box goes on, the pitman arm, the tie rod and drag link parts, the hanger parts and steel for the front spring hanger... and now all I have to do is put it all together!

I need a passenger side flat top and steering arm...

"Picture of a Chevy 10 bolt axle.  This axle has a driver side flat top knuckle with a steering arm.  However No10 bolt axle ever came with a passenger side flat top knuckle!  Since you want to keep knuckle paired together avoid this axle. "

I have a Chevy 10 bolt... I guess high steer is out.

Looks good and you couldn't get a set of knuckles and get the machine work and the arm cheaper than that. Get 'em.

I got a set of used knuckled with a passenger steering arm attached... $165 delivered.

I tried to weld my new hanger together... but I couldn't get enough heat-- no penetration. I even preheated the metal with a propane torch... (I didn't think it would work.)

I was welding with a 110 wirefeed. The heat seems to disapate too quickly... I get no penetration.

BUT Today I bought myself a 225 Lincoln Stick welder! That should work, if I figure out how to use it.

Does anyone want to play?
