Hello my name is Bert Vega and I am from Murrieta. I am brand new to wheeling and just got my first rig two weeks ago. I am looking forward to meeting a some people that could show me the ropes. I cant wait to go to Big Bear and do some crawling. I have been racing motocross for years and now I am the age where I dont bounce any more when I hit the dirt. My truck should be done and ready to go next Friday 6/27. I am hoping to hit some trails that next weekend. Details of my rig

1974 Chevy K5 Blazer
454 cid
400 turbo tranny
205 transfer case
14 bolt rear and Dana 60 front both with ARB Lockers
rock sliders
diff gaurds front and back
6 piont roll cage
8" lift
38.5" TSL Boggers

thats all for now. Hope to meet a few people that dont mind a FNG like me following up the trails with them.

Welcome BVega, Looks like you got yourself a serious rig there! Have any Pics of the beast? I know of a few Blazers here... They will be logging in soon, being this is a brand new forum. Be sure to post your mods and rig on the tech "chevy" section. Again welcome!

Hi guys I'm scott. I am also fairly new to the 4x4 scene. Bert, you blazer sounds awesome, cant wait to see some pic's. I have recently aquired a 76 Chevy shorty van that was converted to 4x4.
  350 motor
  350 trans
  205 transfercase
  14 bolt rear
Dana 44 8 lug front with cross-over steering
  33/14/16.5 swamper boggers(thanks Bob)
Looks to have a 6 inch lift.
Going to be looking for advice on the rig. Need help in the knowledge department. I want to lift it more but don't know enough about 4x4's, (done lots of muscle cars but no trucks). Thanks

Hello! My names Rachelle. I have grown up going to the desert and camping. I love to tag along desert weekends with the family. I love the jeep wranglers and sandrails. Nothings better than getting away for the weekend with the family and dog!!!
