I'm set up the trailer brakes and I'm corn fused... On the brake backing plates are two wires both the same in color one with a stripe (I assume to be positive) the other ground. the brake control module shows normal operation. I don't have any brakes. I checked for power and its there. Anyone have any ideas? helpsmilie

you might need to adjust them, but check the grounding just in case, too  GiveMeBeer rockon

I didn't adjust them. I have a good ground. I can't hear them buzzing or do anything. :hammer: dooh

Not sure if this will help or not but every brake controller that i have used must sit level when mounted per the instructions. What kind of controller are you using??

I don't think Ive ever seen electric brakes that have any adjustments at the hub. It all in the controller if I'm not wrong. Check and make sure you have a good ground connection at he hub connection and a good ground going from the tow rig to the trailer. Just an educated guess?

There is an adjuster at the brake shoes, which I have adjusted to fit the drum. I'm planning on taking it to a trailer shop here in town.

I am having a similar issue with the Prodigy brake controller.  I will let you know if I figure anything out and keep watching this post in case you do.

Ya', I think I've got my problem figured out. The drum surface where the magnet rides was getting enough contact area. Of course they don't make this style of drums any longer. So I'm having to custom fab up some 1/8" doughnuts to drop inside. Should work fine I have plenty of clearence.  EnoughAlready
Thank everyone for the help.
