I've been wanting to run the Mojave Road for a while now and I got to do it last week! It was great! The first night was really cold and windy up in Caruthers Canyon but the next camp a Seventeenmile Point was perfect. Enjoyed tacos and beers next to the campfire well into the night. If things work out, I'd love to bring the wife along in the spring sometime. Anyways, here's the video I put together.

The real desert is not for the eyes of the superficial observer or the fearful soul of the cynic. It is a land which reveals its true character only to those who come with courage, tolerance, and understanding. For those, the desert holds rare gifts

Great video  ThumbUp I've been wanting to do that run for a while now. I've heard there is a lot to explore out there, was fuel an issue??

You'll need enough fuel to drive 150 miles. I brought more than enough myself,  but 5 gallons should do it. Depends on how many side-roads you explore.
