After having to be tugged out of a few places, my front bumper and crossmember needed to be beefed up. Thus I decided to fabricate a new front bumper.
Crossmember:



New bumper mockup:




Ground down the crossmember and plated it:





Welded some heavy D-ring shackles to the frame:






Decided a light bar might look nice:





My buddy after an 8 hour build session that ended at 1:30 the next morning:

Testing of the bumper, tires, & tranny went flawless until my buddies convinced me I needed a rear locker. So I did it the poor mans way.

I had a blast at TDS. The Scout is amazing with a locker. I saw a couple of SCUFF guys. hammeredtoys, I saw driving home and I even got video of chad reed. Video to come.
