Nope but you should check on them since the Smittybuilt is made by T Max this could possibly be made by Warn or one of the other manufacturers

It looks just like the Smittybuilt we got for BIII's first jeep... worked just fine.

Like everything else, you get what you pay for.

 I have seen too many discount (read cheap) winches fail. I'm at that point that I wouldn't use anything but Warn.

If I not mistaken, this is the brand a vendor was promoting at TDS. $350 for a 12k 6.6amp motor. Depends on the warrenty. smittybuilt quality made in china?
