So I am dropping in a 4.6L Golen stoker in the YJ, I have everything in, no problem, but I often get confused while plugging appliances into household sockets, so I really need some help sorting out the harness (Off a 4.0), it also has a MSD ignition and I have no clue where to start, literally. I couldn't find a good writeup on wiring in this beast!

I have both new and old harnesses and I assume that I have to splice the two together but I don't know where to start, if anyone can give me a good walk through it would be MUCH appreciated.

I'd have to look at what you've got.

What's on the other side? Maybe we should look first. (Na' it will give us something talk about later)

Ok I'm am completely confused on this, I think the Jeep has been re-wired at some point, so no colors or wiring diagrams coincide, can someone who has done a swap take pictures of where they spliced their wires at?

I used this when putting in a SBC.  All the colors were correct on my YJ.

I pulled the wires out I didn't use.  I bought the Jeep with no engine and had about 12" of wire coming out of the bulkhead.
