Well I decided to dovetail the TJ, here are some pics of the progress.

|
This basically takes 12" out of the rear and still allows the bed to be used. So function and form will be great with this mod. I have poison spyder comp cut corner gaurds, so my plan is to reuse them with modification to match the dovetail. This will give added strength to the sides plus I will tie the sides into the roll cage.

Damn looks good. Must give you a lot more clearance. And your going to full width axles too arent you? Your gonna have a ton of clearance

Well the only thing stopping me is the wife from time to time! I picked up some body filler to smooth everything out. Next I will work on the comp cut corner guards to match and put them on. After that paint is in order!

I can tell you that they have a good copyright security system! I had a problem loading it so I tried to copy it to a thumb drive and got denied! Had to call them in order to fix the problem. |
