Well I decided to dovetail the TJ, here are some pics of the progress.

This basically takes 12" out of the rear and still allows the bed to be used. So function and form will be great with this mod. I have poison spyder comp cut corner gaurds, so my plan is to reuse them with modification to match the dovetail. This will give added strength to the sides plus I will tie the sides into the roll cage.

Damn looks good.  Must give you a lot more clearance.  And your going to full width axles too arent you?  Your gonna have a ton of clearance

That is right, I have a Dana 60 FF rear going in and still looking for a good front axle.

Well the only thing stopping me is the wife from time to time! I picked up some body filler to smooth everything out. Next I will work on the comp cut corner guards to match and put them on. After that paint is in order!

I can tell you that they have a good copyright security system! I had a problem loading it so I tried to copy it to a thumb drive and got denied! Had to call them in order to fix the problem.
