I have a 1999 tj that the front passenger seat will not lean all the way forward. I slide the leaning lever at the back of the seat and it will lean half way but then wont slide forward. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the lever that at the top side of the seat? or down towards the bottom side?

I tried the top and it ripped out of the seat so I tried at the bottom and that won't work either.

I saw the seat that M.T. is willing to sell ya sweet! l.o.l. I'm fairly certain that there is some sort of cable that makes the connection you might try that or worst case the wrecking yards.

I didn't even know that there was a lever under the seat. I have looked under the seat several times and never or didn't realize the lever was there and it worked. I was looking under the seat tonight and was like "what does that lever do" and pushed up and the seat leaned forward.lol
