6-27-09 Newbie Run'

[Dirty-Detour]

Thanks to Tom / 1990JEEPXJ'  and his friend mike (soon to be Member  ) for making there first SCUFF' run and making this still a Newbie run....
Really sorry the chief couldn't make it... I know hes been waiting a long time to make a run with us..
We all met at the pine valley bridge at 9:00 Sharp...... well almost everyone'   (STEVE !!!)   
With no other stock type rigs showing up we all decided to change it to a medium type run and headed for Corral Canyon " Home Sweet 4x Home"  and ran Sidewinder and Bronco Peak to the first real Point of no return down hill..

Leading most of the way I Only got to snap off a Few Pic;s on this this Run.

First real show stopper was here, it has gotten allot worse since we did our last run there

BigD' got a little Gas Happy and slide back into a Rock and a hard spot, and another tow strap moment.

Steve went for the Hard Line, but we borrowed allot of rocks from there to help get Tom n BigD out, so he came around our way up

Coming through here tom was Yelling at me something about a Coil Spring Launching out the back of my ZJ'

Your telling me!!!!  I spent the weekend in a pissed off stuper.  The kids were walking around on egg shells Friday and Saturday.  I am hoping I can try again on the 11th of July.  I REALLY want to get out there and make a few runs.  I hope that work doesn't rear its ugly head again.  I appreceate Dirty D putting the run together for me.  I hope that we can try again.  Looks like y'all had a great time today.
