I just bought an 88 Comanche and dont know what kind of rear axle it is. It has ten holes and is pretty round. Im not sure if its the original one or not. I read the axle guide and im still not sure which one it is. im thinking its a dana 35 or a chrysler 8.25 but i dont really know. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Looks like a chrysler 8.25
Randy's Ring and pinion list all the diff covers for easy spotting.  Cheers

Randy's guide says it came with a D35 though
http://www.ringpinion.com/DiffList.aspx?SearchMode=Make&MakeID=7&ModelID=376&Side=Rear

The 35 has a rounded top and bottom where the 8.25 has flat spot on the top and bottom.
