I just bought a 6 inline 88 Comanche and want to put in some fullsize axles. Im looking to find ou what kind of fullsize axles would be good. Also out of what vehicle would be the best to take thm off of? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Im just looking for ideas and any information on how to make a good project. Thanks.

best is dana 60 front and a dana 70 rear   its cheaper and stronger stock than building a dana 44

but then again it all depends on what tire size u wanna run

why the hell would u spend 3 grand on axles when u can get a set of one tons and 42s for less than that
not to mention theys hard to get parts for and expensive when u find them

if i did run a portal axle it sure wouldnt be a 404

1 tons the only way to fly. If you get a dana 70 get the U not the HD. 70U has a smooth bottom so it does not get hung up as easy. The 14 bolt is nice but you need to shave it and the gear slection is limited. Look on PBB they are all over the place.
