Ok....didn't know what section to post this is in, so hopefully this will work here.

What are the 2 letter names for, what models do they apply to? What qualifies as an XJ, TJ......? How many are there?      :-[

If any one can break these down for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help. Have always heard these being thrown around, but never knew what they actually meant.

87 to 95=yj
97 to 2006=tj
2007 to present jk
xj is the cherokee
zj was the grand
there are other but this is all i know off the top of my head.
