I learned to drive in a '53 M38A1 and bought an '81 CJ-7 for my first vehicle but it's been years since I've had a running Jeep.

Just got this from a buddy of mine, he got it as-is a while back and it's just been sitting.

Has a brand new 225 V6, rest of it is pretty beat but not unusable or unfixable. It was a farm Jeep (probably pulled balers) and then a hunting Jeep for years. I think it might have actually broken in half at one point.

...so what should I do with this thing? Broke the Dana 27, need a 30 for the front....or juggy it with my wrecked one ton blazer drivetrain? Oh, wait, that would cost $ and be a bunch of work...

I had a blast in it as-is this weekend, nevermind the triple digit ambient temps, and headers under my feet.

Nothin' like manual steering with 1/4 turn of slop in it, no lift, no lockers, 31" A/Ts to keep you busy following a bunch of TJs in the dez.

I don't know what the PO was thinking with the baby blue:confused:...regardless of anything else, it will be covered up shortly.

Dunno yet, haven't had it apart, but it's making broken noises and the front driver side is poppin' and ain't pullin'.
