dual adapter. then getting the tranny t-case back into place to i can start figuring out how im gonna do the new cross member. i was thinking about just getting a 3/8 inch plate and stark hacking into that. see if i can make it be able to cover alot of the bottom of the truck. but thats gonna be freakin heavy so we'll see. ill probally make my way over to competitive metals and look around to see wht i might be able to come up with. maybe even do it in aluminum so thats its not so heavy.

Damn, Mike do you want to detail out my trans & tranfer cases also, did you use mothers aluminum polish or what? Those look good! Mike all kidding aside your build is coming together real nice, you should be ready to go wheeling this spring if you keep making headway like you have been.

No. diffs are getting new gears now. i still need to get longfields for the front. getting tires soon. still need to get rims. i think im going to leave the axle torn apart for when i go to build the lift. i figure it would be easier to manuver an empty housing. then once i get everythign where i want it ill burn it all in and put the axles back together while they're on the truck.

good idea. and your diffs are ready btw. i think tad nugent was joking about the price on his longs. you should buy them from him though so he can throw some more coin into his rig.

well i got my dual adapter the other day. wanted to get it all done today so i can stop tripping over the tranny and t-case. had to make a forward shiter into a top shifter. and after breaking these.. on that snap ring... . after a trip to the store i finally had it all done. than i ran into this problem when i went to put the 2 cases together. I know i got to be doing something wrong, but there is absolutely no way to get both of those nuts on. they are obth in each others way. and its not like i can move anythign around. i tryed taking that one off and putting ther other on first. didnt work. the only thing i can think of is smaller nuts. but then it wont be held on by very many threads. im lost. any ideas?

Very interesting.. Pull the stud out and back off the other nut so it can slip past??? maybe or replace the studs with bolts.. more better
