Here are some pictures of the run at Otay Truck Trail.  Running up the hill from Thousand Trails Camp grounds  A view looking East to West with Otay lake in the distance.     West end of the trail. From here you see RJ Donavon Prison in Otay  It was just what the doctor ordered. A relaxing evening cruise, off road with friends and their rigs. The meet up point was set for the Edwards Theaters In Rancho San Diego. Right on Que we all met at 5:00 pm. we ran out Hwy 94 to Otay Lakes rd. where we headed west to the Thousand Trails camp grounds. That's where we caught the dirt and took the long grade up to the top of the mountain. Once on top we then made the winding trip to Otay,after a short break we doubled back to Hwy 94. and back to town. Down from o'side was Brink, Moparbrent and girlfriend Michelle. ... and from the East county Jeffm1964 and his wife Mary. DesertCrawler who Metal Twister was riding shot gun with. Thanks to all for showing up on such a short notice, it was a very enjoyable evening playing in SoCals Backyard. Thanks again for showing... I know there were more pics taken... Postum up. |

It was a great cruisin those trails. Lots of turn-offs that I can't wait to go back and explore. Might be an option after the meet this Sat.
