hopefully ill get some 'action' shots this next saturday after we meet up at fiesta island ;)

and yea, i know..the location of the high lift sucks.  i had it on my front bumper but i forgot it was on there the first time i hit a trail with it on and pushed it into the grill on entry of a rather large boulder..lol  its usuallyl on teh OTHER side of the speakers but i had to haul some stuff around today.  im about to strap it back to where it was..

i need to get some shackles on teh front.  i had bought some but they sent the wrong ones.  im just habitually lazy and keep forgetting to order ones that fit. lol

yea, im pretty sure its illegal.  no ones said anything though. i work RIGHT across the street from a cop shop too so i see a heap of em everyday.  and i took em off as they were getting kinda beat up.  the inside's were seeing quite a bit of rubber from flexing and teh outsides were gettnig scratched up..

and yea, im a flipping redneck from a VERY small 3 street town....i like it with no fenders!!  haha  ~cowboy

on the flip side, ive actually seen about a half dozen other jeeps (usually CJ's or YJ's) with no fenders cruising around SD also so i dunno

Now you don't have to worry about those plastic fenders fading and trying to find a product to brighten them up. Way to be proactive!!!   ~scooter      (smiley doesn't make sense here, just wanted to try it out)

WOW, looks a lot different from the Mall Queen look the last time I saw it, sweet

My front flares and a couple of inches of the actual fender are gone thanks to a wall at Truckhaven for the driver's side, a large rock at Corral Canyon for the right side and a sawzall to get the twisted metal off. Never had a second look from the folks that drive black and white Fords.

I did talk with a CHP guy who's also an off-roader and I asked another friend who's a SD City motor-cop, they said basically the same thing, what gets their attention is rooster tails in the rain so it's generally not a problem in SoCal. Of course they also said in the same general terms that if someone was being a  ~poo that could give them an excuse...

haha  yea, it was pretty stock and G*$ when i was up at jasons last....  i pulled a bunch o stuff off and have beaten it up a fair bit since :P

and tahts sorta what i rekon, dont drive like a butt head and no ones gonna say anything.  i seldom if ever speed and when i do its maybe 5mph over....lol  im gonna put the fenders back on when it starts to rain.  i honestly dont like driving it in the rain anyway, its REALLY darn squirelly...the lack of sways sure doesnt help either!
