Pump Mod. completed.  punk there is a little less oil in the air system then before. I ran it for about five minutes and the amount of oil was about .25 oz. Could be left over from before the Mod.  punk
Thanks for the link  clap very easy to follow.  Cheers

No problem for the link.
When I set mine up I didn't do the mod since it was mounted vertically, but got a lot of oil anyway.  Had to redo with another compressor because I left it on, and while driving on the freeway blew an airline.  Didn't notice until I smelled the burning oil smell from the compressor over heating.  Decided that I would do the oil mod since I had to have it out anyway.

ThumbDown WRONG OWWWW SO WRONG!!!!!!!! man i wish people would really know how everything works before they create these websites that feed you full of B>S If you do this mod, you will be hurting the compressor. The hole you will be plugging is there for a purpose, and that is to keep the top end lubed. No lube = burnt up top end. If you want to slow down the oil in the filter problem,(you will never stop the oil completely) vent the case and use an oil return line from the filter back to the compressor. MIKE I THINK I NEED TO SIT YOU DOWN AND HAVE A TALK WITH YOU! nono

 stupid

Your engine doesn't have a oiler in it dose it?  infact you engine has oil rings to try and keep oil out, but doesn't keep it all out.  The York doesn't have oil rings and lets an over abundance of oil through.  As Mike stated "there is still oil, but less", so that means there must still be some oil getting to the top end some how.

mike i was not joking and if you take that ol 2 stroker apart you will see what i mean! clap vent the case and use an oil return line from the filter back to the compressor. yes it will run in short bursts but try to run it for long periods of time and see what happens might as well plug the oil line on the turbo to my truck. but what do i know i only work with these every day as a hdr mechanic but to each there own! good luck!

but if my bottle runs out i might need air mike lol

Is it set up to fill the tank and then stop automatically when it reaches pressure?  Or do you just engage the clutch manually and keep an eye on it?

MT... I have some Peterbilt air tanks in the shop. If you want to make one fit into the BLEEP (is that what you are going to call it?)  it is yours. I think I have 3 sizes.

It has a pressure switch like this
