k short and sweet here. swapping out a toast 22re out on a 1985 for a strong running 22re out of a 1990. they have minor differences that i can notice. will i need a wiring harness change or adapter? looks like everything else should bolt right up. info would help. even if its just links to the answers i need on a diff site.
thanks

here is an engine swap harness, it would be better though to get it out of the donor rig.

theres really not much to them is should go right in   if urs was a efi motor the only things u might have to change are the block harness to the 85  and the possibility of the oil pressure sending unit  the best thing to do is to take pictures of the 85 motor  and lots of pics  in the engine bay   that way u will know where everything goes

where do u live
i might be able to help if ur close enough

motor is out of doaner vehicle. its sitting on a tire in my garage... it is complete intake to oilpan to clutch, just need to use my old airbox and radiator. but if there are more parts i should get from the 1990 runner i can probably still go grab them.

im in lakeside an if you'd be able to atleast take a look at it would probably help me out helpsmilie

I put a 91 22RE out of a 2wd in my old 85 4X4 pick up. I just used the 91 block & head and swapped over the oilpan, intake, exhaust, & sensors (coolant temp & oil sender).
