Find a small piece of tubing with the outside diameter the same as the inside if the threaded hole, and the inside diameter a few thousandths bigger than the drill bit. It will center the bit and make a perfect hole down the middle.

Alright so yesterday i finally got that bolt out! I originally tried using a hammer drill and heating it with a blow torch and then after a couple of hours of doing that, I got a punch and hammered the punch into the bolt and that broke it off with the threads. I put a larger bolt into the hole and modified the bushing bracket to fit the larger bolt and now it is all good and fixed  clap

Picked up this 42" baja bench seat today for $100 but came without brackets for mounting. It has tabs on all 4 corners but i need to find a way to mount it. Anybody wanna be awesome and create something so i can mount it in the TJ?  helpsmilie

edit: got the mounting bracket and 4 point harnesses. I need the bracket to be cut and rewelded to fit in the tub of the jeep. anybody wanna weld?  Cheers

bought the Smittybilt C.R.E.S last thursday to keep my dog in. I think it looks awesome. no noise at all and it keeps stuff in the jeep. I was actually able to drive in a topless jeep with balloons without them flying away haha

alrighty SO i was wide awake at 2am and decided to cut my rear fenders. and so here it goes:

I used a hand saw, sandpaper, and masking tape

I used the masking tape as a guide for where i need to cut. it works well :D

passenger side:

drivers side:

By cutting my fenders, i ended up with about 9 inches in between the fender and the top of the tire. compared to it originally being 5 inches

I need to get a day photo of it
