Good evening all- A quick introduction.  My name is Dave, and I?m a new addict.  As with I?m sure most of you, I have been afflicted with a disease commonly known as jeepitis.  Kidding  aside,  after seeing video of a friend?s trip on the Rubicon last year, I knew that was something I wanted to do.  After months of searching, I found the perfect rig, ready for me to buckle up and hit it.  2 weeks ago I made the big purchase.
2005 Rubicon unlimited, auto, 4.5? Nth degree LA, Currie heavy duty steering, Warn 9.5ti wench, Front/Rear chromoly axle shafts, 5:13 gears, transmission cooler, cold air induction, plus much more.  I couldn?t have asked for a better  ?first jeep?.  Just get in ?  turn the key and go.   And we did just that.   The first weekend, San Diego 4 Wheeler superstition run.   It took a week to wipe the smile off my face.  The attached photo was my virgin trip - and one of my first obstacles, ?Jamie?s Crack.  I couldn?t be happier with the performance or the experience.   Best of all ? the wife had a great time as well?.  A guy couldn?t be luckier, great jeep AND the wife?s approval.

Anyway ? I look forward to getting to know you guys and hope to see you on the trail someday.

Id like to welcome all three of you to the Scuff... You, Your wife, and the Rig. I can see ya smiling right through the screen and that new enthusiasm really never wares off. In fact, I think once bitten it only gets under your skin deeper. When you get a chance to post up a pic of the rig in action! clap

Again welcome, and I look forward to wheeling with you guys soon.  Welcome Welcome

Sorry guys here ya go- - I couldn't figure out how to reduce the file size to fit.  Hope this works.  This was within the first two hours behind the wheel.  Did Superstition with SD4wheelers and they didn't hold anything back.  The wife felt the need to get out for Jaime's crack.... sooooo pictures  punk

Hope this meets with approval.

and yes - - i've been all smiles since then
