ya born and raised in san diego(east county) found the website by robert(desertcrawler i believe)just got hired at my company few weeks back just in time cause i was tired of reading and replying to all of these east coast forums.

Cool ZJ. Friend just got one. Advice? What's required for the driveshafts with that much lift?
What tcase do you have, full time 4x4 and did you eliminate it/hyd coupling?

ya i ditched the old 249 when it exploded and got a 242 out of junkyard for $85 did the old input shaft swap and shes good to go. drivshafts are still stock work great but for more travel i need to lengthen the rear like 1 1/2" and not sure what to do with front yet. but yes the drivshafts are what is limiting the travel i saw a rig the other day with a fixed rear yoke with a double cardon yoke off transfer case to rear(i know the front has one stock) it looks like it would really decrease those angles but its hard to find sye or fixed yoke for a 242.im not sure but it works great how it is so until the old money tree comes back alive its staying till it breaks lol.
