I have heard of people running an SOA lift with just a DPA, but I think the safer way to do it is to use a high steer or cross over steer set up. I am using cross over cause it is cheaper. With my cross over, I am still using a 4" DPA. If you do the BJ's 6" spring lift, you get away with just the 4" DPA, but I think the SOA lift is just a little too high to get away with just a DPA.
