Got home a little bit ago. THAT,,,,,,,,,,,,,WAS,,,,,,,,,,AWSOME!!!!!!!!!! punk ,even with the breaks (Magoo somehow pushing his diff fill plug INTO the diff and punching a hole in his TC, minor things ya know) it was a great day, Got to met some great wheelers. Tried some new lines on the trail, made some and got denied by some. Mike did a great job on his trail fix while some of us watched and drank beer(Time for the hi steer Mike). Pics and video will fallow. As for now its time for sleep!

I'm working on mine and I'm sure there will be a ton of pics from others. With 12-15 rigs there were a lot of cameras. Me, Snotrocket, Magoo, and Cheif didn't get off the trail until after 9pm.

Waiting for the pics.  Great run even with the issues.  My kids LOVED running that trail and even though we spent hours helping, watching, making fun of, and just inspiring SnotRocket through his trail side repair, the kids woke up asking when we can go again.  That was an awesome trip.  I had a few of my friends from work, and I think they had as much fun as anyone could have.  My hats off to Snotrocket for putting this meet and greet together.  I noticed quite a few guys who are new to SCUFF and who might become new to SCUFF, and this was a great way to show off how awesome SCUFF'ers are.  Looking forward to seeing the pics and video for this run.

Looks like a great time.  Is it just the way the pics look or has that trail gotten a lot more rutted out since last time.

Yea, I resemble that photo as well.  Time to start packing sun screen in with the 4X4 gear.

Dave.

Yea, the last rain made it a little worse.  On the way down to the playground, the trail is a lot worse than I remember.  There were a few times I was praying that I wouldn't roll over.  The kids however thought that was the greatest fun ever.  Go figure.

here are some pictures.

im gonna work on a video.

also, it just so happened that chief had an angle finder in the back of his truk so i checked the angles of the north face and the regular way to go up pancake rock.

what would you all think the angles were? (for those of you that know, shut it.)

I'd guess 20 deg. on the low side and 40 ish on the north face. but my first guess was like 30 and 60 deg... i have no idea... it was just ridiculously steep on the north side.

it was 35 on the north face and 20 on the regular. these are rough cause the rock was exacatly straight and i got different readings from different parts of the rock. so roughly it was 35 and 20 degrees.

aside from my sun burn from walking much more of the trail then i planned, i had a great time.  i just wish my part had come in so i could have wheeled it too.  i was rather amused how well my video of my brother up pancake turned out. from a small camera and such.  just turn the sound off, it sounds better without my yelling in the background
