So i picked up a new project a few weeks ago... 1980 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer. Body looks good but the motor is bad (spun a couple rod bearings). It did come with a spare motor and other parts to get it back to functional. Hopefully before too long i can get it running. rockon I'll get some pics up soon.

yea i haven't got it out of the truck to see what all is in that motor but what I've seen so far is edlebrock heads with crower valves/springs and scorpion 1.6 roller rockers, aluminum pistons with H beam rods, edlebrock carb, Doug Thorley headers... but then they used a factory GM aluminum intake manifold, and a cheep looking duel exhaust system. talk about building a motor then choking it out... also noticed the transmission might of had some work... it has a purple torque converter. The t-case is a NP 205, both axles look like Dana 44's... too much to remember rockon

Can't beat the full sized rigs!

I'm in the middle of a TPI swap on mine. Couldn't get the carb to work right off-road even with all the tricks.

So i got it running about 2 weeks ago, so far no leaks... at least from the motor. trans pan leaks a little so I'm gonna service that (kinda planned to do it anyway). still got to get DMV squared away and smog it. hard part of it is none of the original smog equipment is there... ~scratch head~ (not sure yet how I'm gonna figure that one out yet). also gotta fix the column and replace the front drive shaft... Good times  rockon
