My moms owns a 94 Jeep Wrangler with a 4.5" lift and with 144xxx miles on it. recently the oil pressure gauge began to act funny. when i accelerate the gauge moves all the way up, then when i shift up it goes back to the middle, then goes back up until i shift again. its not ovefilled or missing oil. anybody got any ideas? thanks guys.

The oil pressure gauge shoud move with RPM, some vehicals dont have a very presice system. Try a new a oil pressure sending unit, Its right there by the oil filter. I think there like 50 bucks.
