so i picked my self up a new truck today. its a 1997 ford f350 with the v8 46o. i think its a 7.6L. got the camper too. 87 lance. its real nice. ill see if i can get some better pics up tomorrow.    |

Very cool, before the kids came and we went to the mo home I had the same set up. Are you going to leave the Lance on full time? Scared me every time I took it on and off my truck, got real tippy the higher I jacked it up.

Cant beat the Lance! Just jack it up enough to drive the truck out, just a few inches and you shouldn't have any issues. I built a roll around cart that the camper sits on and it is movable once off the truck. Congrats on an excellent looking rig.  Nice score! |

thanks. i definately know what you mean now about how tippy it gets taking it on and off. i helped the guys take it off so he could get it smogged and then helped him put it back on and i about  my self everytime. definately something you have to get use to. the guys i bought it from kept real good care of everything. the truck looks slmost brand new and the same with the camper. and we went over everything. i've never had a camper before so i needed him to show me how everythign works. im just real excited to go camping now. and no i have no plans on keeping that thing on the back of the truck. i gotta take it to yuma sometime in the next couple of weeks to get it registered so ill probally test it out then. ill try to get up soem better pictures today. |
