Hey, how's everybody doing? I'm new to SCUFF, my buddy Brady told me about the forum, I checked it out and it seems pretty cool. I'm pretty much less than an amateur at wheeling, haven't played in the dirt for a couple years now but I'm looking to get back into it. I grew up in the great state of Alaska and now I'm down in San Diego cause I joined the Navy. I drive a 1990 4Runner, bone stock except for the K&N drop in and a little grill guard the PO put on it. Running 31x10.5 ATs, 4x4, IFS, 4.56 gears mated to a 3.slow V6. Her name's Betty. Ugly Betty to be precise. Gets me from A to B and is still good enough for me to have a little fun in. As far as future mods go, I've got a laundry list, goes a little something like this:
- ISR, that's intake silencer removal - Big 3 wire upgrade whenever I get off my butt to do it - looking for an ARB or Warn front bumper - Gunna chop the top in the back over the cargo area - 2" suspension lift - 33" ATs once I get the lift on, gotta keep 'em from rubbing - Re-gear to 4.88 - Extended Diff breathers whenever I stop feeling lazy (quite possibly the easiest mod ever) - Gunna get rid of the running boards and put a set of sliders on - And eventually I'm going to SAS it
There's some other stuff I want to/am going to do but can't think of at the moment. You guys have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.
Seth

Oh man... Don't get me in the middle of this. I'm old and tired, I don't think I can handle that debate http://www.socalultimate4x4.com/index.php/topic,3326.0.htmlLet me get this back on track by saying welcome to the fastest growing 4x4 forum in So Cal. Settle in and get a feel for the SCUFF and when you feel comfortable with the rules and stuff, post away. Our forum is a little less "in your face" than most. Being we are all So Cal guys and wheel together its best we don't piss off each other too much! I mean ya never know who ya might need help from on the trails. Great neighborly bunch here, ENJOY and again
