Hit the abandoned airport with njovin today.  Started at ampm off the 15 and Deer Springs and ended at Twin Oaks Vlly. Rd.  We had never been out there before so we were relying on some maps I had printed out of the area.  The plan was to get out to the airport and hopefully have some fun on the way.  Plenty of fun with some worrisome areas and getting a little off the pre-mapped trail led us the opposite way of the airport but once we figured things out we were on our way.

I ran a stock TJ and would probably rate this place moderate with some areas hard(ish), at least for me.

Someone had painted some smack talk on this rock about Hummer's.  Thought it was funny.

We weren't sure about the run until late the night before.  Believe me, we regretted not sending out an invite, especially to those who've been out that way.

Definitely next time.   ThumbUp

Great pictures for sure.  I am glad your still making some runs.  Did the wife go with you, or is she still not sure about things?  I still want to make that run sometimes.  Looks like a lot of fun.  Next time post up an invite, even if you only deside the night before.  YOu will be surprised how many people could/ would show up even with a last minute posting.  Either way, glad you had fun and great pics.

The wife was out of town for a bachelorette thing so I was trusted to not break anything out there.  Good thing I didn't or I'd be taking a dirt nap.   Junker
