Hey all,

The name is Nick, just thought i'd introduce myself and maybe find some friends to go exploring with.  I have a mildly built 93 ZJ that i don't like to put into really testing situations without at least one other vehicle around just in case.  I'm running a stock drivetrain (sadly) with the 318 CI engine.  I built my own bumper with the help of a buddy who used it to teach me how to weld.  I have a 3.5 inch rubicon express lift with 31 inch BFG AT's.  I've also just recently installed JKS quick discos.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

To 87K5BLAZER, most of my adventures take place in the otay truck trail area.  its not the most extreme environment but there's lots of BLM land out there where i can combine my two hobbies, 4 wheelin and shooting.  Obviously not at the same exact time though, haha.

I've been up on Otay Truck Trail and it's good for a quick easy trip. Have you ever had and issues shooting 2guns out there with all the border patrol?

hellz yeah!

Not a one actually, except for the one time they sent their helo spotted us and decided to investigate, and the other time we got to our "range" and there were 3 BP trucks and 4 illegals (i'm guessing) cuffed and on the ground right where we normally set up.  Most times they just roll on by and wave or ask about our guns and just hang out for a while. One guy actually said he likes when we're out there because we close down a whole valley that they basically don't have to worry about for a while. haha.

I'd love more lift and bigger tires but i really want to upgrade axles first (damn those dana 35c's).  $$$ is my only issue, haha.

Exactly!
