if i have a dana 30 front end w/ stock drive shaft and then i got a 4inch lift, would i have to buy a new drive shaft? and if so how much longer would it need to be????

Your best bet would be to drop your drive shaft and measure the length fully extended. I would think that a 4" lift would not be big enough to need a longer drive shaft, but a quick measurement should confirm that.

A 4" lift should not be big enough to need a longer drive shaft. I had a 4" lift on a Grand Cherokee and I ran the stock drive shaft with no problems.

yeah i have 93 cherokee, but i was talking to my buddy and he though it was odd that it had the stock drive shaft so i was just curious.

Have to lenghten the rear shaft for sure..or go to a SYE kit. you may get away with it for a while, but with the looks of it not for long

Your fine. But i do have a brand new CV shaft for the rear, Iv you use a sye, youll need it/
