I am fairly new to Jeeps and I do not live in California, I am in Montana.  I know our conditions are much different than you have in Southern California.  But I know you have a lot of knowledge on Jeeps.  I want to do a very modest 2 1/2" to 3" lift.  I have a 02 TJ with a dana 44 on rear and 30 in front, 6 cyl 5 spd.  Currently running 31" BFGs.  No lockers.  Does anyone have suggestions on lift kits without breaking the bank?

Hahaha  LMAO Just Empty Every Pocket = JEEP  Daystar has a budget lift. I'm not sure how much lift you can go before the trackbar or steering get maxed out. You'll most likely need longer shocks.  Cheers check out there site http://www.daystarweb.com there are cheaper products out there you'll have to be the judge

What's on the other side? Maybe we should look first. (Na' it will give us something talk about later)

There's something for every budget. I just picked up the 3.25 lift here for my 05 because I went to 33" wheels.

Rough Country - http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_suspension_lift_kits.html

But you may want to consider throwing a locker and some disconnects in there first. They made a world of difference in my Jeep on 31s.

you could do Old Man Emu, Rubicon express, Full Traction, Pro Comp (i dont recommend it) etc

they all have different lifts for different budgets and what you want to use it for
