this is from our friend dallas     he was freinds with the girls who died  and her sister who was also hit

"Dallas Wyatt  alright guys, iu know this event has affected everyone, not only physically but emotionally. we are organizing a fundraiser for the families of these victims. We will be holding this fundraiser at Fastlap Indoor kart Racing located at 3215 Corridor Drive, Mira Loma, Ca, 91752. The event will start at 4pm. We will have ...celebrity offroad drivers including Chuck Dempsey from Speed Technologies, More to come soon."

I agree also. I have been to that race before and others. I can't believe how close these people stand to the course. It is exciting to be next to all the action but you do have to use common sense.

My wife's good friend, Amanda Schuyler, suffered a great loss, as did many others, when her friend and neighbor, Brian Wolfin, was killed at the Mojave Desert races this past weekend. A fund has been set up to help support the family he left behind. There is a "fun"d raising memorial for him this Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Glenridge Cul-d-sac, in Escondido, starting at 11:00 am.

I was out helping with the race in Plaster City back on Oct.23 and there were BLM and rangers all over the place.  They were all really cool and were just keeping an eye on things.  Hopefully they still approve the permit for the next race in Jan.
