Ive never been involved with Geocaching but I  admit it sounds kinda of fun. Has anyone here had frst hand experience with it and what were your impressions of it?

i have found 2 Geo caches. both on accident or with out looking for them. found one in the bushes on pancake rock and another on a trail in pine valley. it was kind of neat just wish i had actually been looking for them and found them. im interested in it. just dont know too much about it. one of those 4x4 mag's used to do a geo caching deal in each month's issue. but i think they stoped doing it. they would hide stuff all over and leave the cordinates hidden in the mag. you would get cool free stuff if you found it.

I wish I had the GPS location for those items I bought at Home Depot. They are hidden in my garage somewhere. wheelchair

Its a blast. Used to do it all the time. There are caches everywhere, Borrego, Gordens Well, Palo Verde, Ocotillo and just about ant place our club goes wheeling. There a re a couple of web sites that you can register your cache or look for caches in the area your headed to. It makes the journey a little more fun, especially when you have the wife and kid with you.

I used to do it a lot, especially up in big bear. i once found a plastic poker chip looking thing at big bear, registered it online like it said on the chip, and checked up on it 6 months later and it was in Sweden. so awesome
