unfortunatly i bought my wife micheal buble tickets for our anniversary so now i have to take her to the concert tonight. much rather be wheeling.

padres and phillies game tomorrow. taking my axles apart on sunday. probally gonna put my t-case back together and take the other one apart. so that its ready for the dual adapter. tired of kicking around gears in the garage. maybe kicking it at the beach the afternoon. if the sun ever come out over here.  |

Hopefully, I will finish up the rear main seal tonight......if I can find a new seal here. If I can get it done tonight, then Sat is devoted to putting the trans back in. If I am adventureus, I might get the transfer case in too. If I cannot get the seal this weekend, then I might shift to the front pinion seal and sway bar. Eitherway, I wanna make some progress and get the Jeep out of 2wdrckcwlr's garage. He has put up with me way too long!!!

Beach cook out. I think I will drive the Mog, do a quick dognut in the sand just to feel like I went 4x ing PS: I found a short vid of my last trip to big bear on youtube, type in John Bull Unimog. You can see my nuts draging on the rocks. I know you all want to look now.  |

I went camping in yosemite. Took a swim in the merced, and lots of hiking. Watched crazy bear activity and found the coolest job ever. The bear "hazers". Its a group of 2, one with a tracking antenna, and the other with a shotgun loaded with bean bags and rubber bullets. They go around "hazing" the bears in camp at night. They said they saw 10 bears and hazed 7 of them that night in our camp. We had bears less than 20' away (or 10'~) at least 3 times on this trip. On the way home there were a bunch of idiot drivers that also needed some hazing. I should never need to be in the fast lane to maintain the speed limit on a semi open freeway in my 10K lb rig.
