Hey so the jeep hesitated when i went to go for a pass. hesitated for about 1 1/2 seconds. what causes this? do i need new spark plugs? help  surrender

Vacuum leak somewhere, TPS dirty, some other sensor dirty, bad 02 sensor, bad gas...

gas is good, most likely one of the sensors is dirty, i went mudding on saturday. so maybe

check to see if your air cleaner is clogged up as well. i used to have that problem with my taco when i took it muddin.

air cleaner is good, checked that yesterday. just got back from class, so i'll go clean some of the sensors and see how that does

How bad did it hesitate? Both my jeeps have had a slight delay when going from part throttle to WOT.  I believe it is due to the calibration in the ECU and a side affect of using a MAP based system instead of a MAF based system.  My random guess is that it needs a heavier accelerator pump shot.
