We're heading up to Corral Canyon on Saturday, August 2nd, meeting at 9AM at Four Corners (the parking area in the Corral Canyon OHV park).

Initial plan is to run up and then down Bronco Peak (not the connector trail) and then Sidewinder. This is a run to shakedown a new lift, axles, repair jobs and some new mods on a couple of Jeeps.

Everyone is welcome, beginners are welcome, stock Jeeps can make this run if you have any tire combo better than stock street tires but you may experience scrapes and dings with no lift; remember, your Jeep is more capable than you think you are ;D

If all goes well we should be back in San Diego by 1PM.

Come on out, it'll be fun, trust me~clown

actually it probably can, I've hauled close to stock Jeeps (XJ, WJ, TJ and YJs) across there with only one unfortunate incident with a Dana 35, the last trip on Sidewinder included a bone stock 2005 Jeep TJ with 30" BFG AT's and it made it fine.

If nothing else there's other trails to play on out there and we always plan on running at the level of of the "least built" rig so no one gets left behind. or just come out and ride along, we could always use extra spotters or beer openers

I might be up for this if I can get back dr Seattle. I'll be heading down from oceanside but I can meet you there. I want to test out a swapped lift and just to kill some time for fun. You plan on hitting anything else up? I wouldn't mind doing some more wheeling if I make that drive out.

we're basically doing the same thing, have one Jeep with a new lift and axles, another that I'm pulling the axle shafts on right now, and another that had some repairs to the control arms and we're going to be bouncing around the rocks checking things out. I'd rather have it break close to home than out in the desert..

Corral Canyon is a lot of fun, come on down and get dirty, you can get a full days supply of vitamin R (rocks) there

It was a good day. We got a chance to try out the stuff we have been working on for the last few weeks and uncovered a couple of issues that need attention before the wheeling season really starts.
