Are you talking about the OHV area at the top of Otrega? If so I have been a couple of times, there is a good spot for the kiddies to play and a few long trails that go around the park. Not sure about the temp, I did a bike ride over the hill and it was 109 at the top.

Been there once years ago. Fun place to putt around. My parents were there last weekend and told me that some of the trails were heavly rutted from previous rains. They didn't drive around much cause they were by themselfs and didn't want to get stuck. Said they didn't see anyone else out there. If you go let us know how it was. Would like to get up there again when I get my truck fixed.

Yeah thats the place. Make sure you get an adventure pass ( rangers love to give tickets down there ) Not very much for Jeeps / trucks to play on, just a few trails wide enough. Lots of desert pin striping. Let me know if a group is going there, we cold make it a north county M&G.
