So ive been MIA recently but just got the internet set up in my barracks so im back. Im within about a month or so of getting my enlistment signing bonus and am gonna put some work into my wrangler. I'm looking to do a 2-3in lift and 31in tires. any suggestions on good parts. also wanted to get a cb radio and hopefully a security system. If yall could point my in the right direction that would be awesome. I'm gonna have around 3k to spend try to keep that in mind. Thanks a lot guys

Get 33s instead. I had a 2" SL and a 1" BL with 33s and they fit just fine. When i bought my last jeep it had 31s and no lift. Here is a before and after pic. Before: .jpg) Lift with 31s .jpg) Lift with 33s .jpg)

Agreed. You will be a lot happier with 33s and the price difference is not that much.
Fry's has a good selection of CB accessories, mounts, wires and antennas for cheap but the radios are kind of expensive there. Look into the uniden radios on Amazon; they are about $35 with free shipping. The 510 or 520 are small and quality. The difference is PA or not.
As for lift, everyone has all good things to say about the Old Man Emu springs and shocks.

If you are going to do a 3" lift on a Wrangler go with 33's.

Be careful with buying tires. If you go with a cheap generic set like the ones you get from Joe's Tires, they are way undersized. I bought a set of "31's" from El Amigo Tire and they measure out to be 27 1/2". Spend your money in the right places the first time and you'll be way happier. Good luck.

Send over your jeep + an additional 3k I'll send it back looking like this.. less the girl If you like to wheel the hard lines go with a 4"-5" and 35" tires.
