Well not gonna make my goal of new years :innocent: But been working on it little by little.  School makes me smarter and work allows me to afford this sport.  Been doing too much working lately

Heres what I've gotten done

Steering box mount

Moved the engine back an inch for more clearance and got the front shocks all done.  Cycles through 14" travel and probably articulates better

I'm interested in how you chose to build your frame with the step at both ends? Are you planning on reinforcing the seams? Don't get me wrong I like what I see, just looks like a weak spot. I don't know stupid

Yea I still have some work to do.  I'm going to cut the angles nicer and plate both sides/cap in the ends..  One week left of finals then there will be some real progress

Been fighting a cold for a week but have been making some progress.

Got the rear shock hoops all made

And started on some new front fenders.  Didn't like the other ones and they weren't gonna work.

I got 5 Hella 4000.  Do you guys think I should make a light rack with 4 on the roof or 1 on each side of the cal and 2 on the bumper?????

i vote for option c     wich is put all 4 on the front bumper some how   cause putting lights up on ur roof dosent really work  to well unless theyr hids   bumper is the best optimal place for them

As far as Hull-n-%$# in the dunes. I would go with 4 on top and 2 on the bumper. I have 4 on the bumper and couldn't see far enough ahead bombing through the dunes.  eek Guess I could have adjusted 2 of them.  oops Other then that I rarely use them, head lights and rock lights are more then enough for me. rockon

I'm going to put 2 on the bumper and 2 on the cowl.  4 on the roof would be nice for high speed but I probably won't go faster than 90 or so.  On my bronco I had 5 right above/in front of the widshield and 2 on the bumper and it was perfect while doing 95 down pole line in super.  Theres no way 4 of thses would fit on my front bumper

I like your tube fenders, can you post up some close up pics. Did you run a piece of tube all the way across to the other side?  Cheers

Ok got some pics of the fenders and other things that I'm working on with it.  Just taking my time and not rushing.

And I'm working on the tranny/transfer case tunnel right now.  The engine sits high so I can have a flat skid

First time doing a lot of sheetmetal work but I'm getting there

overall pic with the hood down

Looks Good  clap clap It's hard to tell from the picture, are the fenders attached to the tubing that crosses behind the grille?

Got the dash finally all figured out and pretty much finished.

Almost got everything buttoned up then I'm gonna pull the body off the frame and start welding and painting everything
