Hello, I was told about you guys from a fellow samurai owner Chad reed. I've currently only got a Land Rover Disco 2 here in san diego, but am looking forward to doing some exlporing. Last weekend we went out to the anza borrego for the day and had a pretty good time, But i'm looking to find some more place that a stock vehicle can get round on without tearing anything up. I'm definitely not new to wheeling... just wheeling san diego.

here are a couple of pictures from last weekend. We just went and drove fish creek wash and sandstone canyon. I started down del diablo, but we were by ourselves and I didn't know how bad it got so I turned around and came back out before I got to the drop. I need to get my sami out here, but I'm only going to be here until about september of next year so it's probably not going to happen.

(btw, I figured you guys would get a kick out of the name. I chose it since I'm in an open/open land rover on all weather tires. The sad thing is it will probably end up going more places than 90% of the 30k dollar rigs running long arms that I see driving around. Sad...)

LOL, I didn't say that it is more capable. Just that it will end up going more places than most of the ones running around san diego. Now if the sami was out here, we might have to work something out ;).

How is the arroyo del diablo trail? Think it's doable in a stock vehicle?

Welcome, I drive the Arroyo del Diablo/Arroyo Tapiado loop in a 2wd GMC 1500. I could probably run most of it in my wife Honda Odessey minivan
