Check your track bar bushing while your down there... make sure they aren't worn out

ya it looks like its worn along with the tie rod ends...so that would be the cause and not the steering stabilizer?

You might want to check the alignment too, not enough caster can cause a death wobble.

Steering stabilizer can help control the death wobble, but it's not the cause. track bar / steering arm alignment = should be at the same angle... My go to problem area to look at would be the track bar bushings. RE bushings suck plane and simple (rubber type).. Have someone sit inside your jeep and turn the wheel left/right and look at every joint for movement.. Lower control arm bushing take alot of abuse also.

exactly what mikegyver said
but i've had deathwobble 4 times in the last 3 months. the SS is only a bandaid for the problems. i have the currie hd steering and the drag link end, and tie rod end both died on me. also my upper control arm bushings were shot and i need new lowers now. so check the control arm bushings, tie rod ends, drag link end, allignment and caster, and balance

ya all my tie rod ends look like they need to be replaced the boots are all ripped with grease coming out of them, but my control arm bushings look ok...hows your currie hd system working out for you? i was thinking about putting rusty's off road hd system and replacing all the tie rod ends... thanks

Have someone sit in the jeep at turn the wheel back and forth, airing down a little bit on pavement helps. Make the tapered studs of the tie rod/drag link ends are not loose in the arms. Make sure the body of the TREs are not loose on the tapered studs. The best way is to put your hand on them and feel them while they move. A clunk or pop mean something's not right. CAREFUL WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HANDS!

I had death wobble in my last jeep as well. I did the steering test as previously stated and saw that my track bar was moving on the axle end. Turned out that the hole in the track bar bracket on the axle was bigger than the hole in the bushing on the track bar. The bolt was the same size as the bushing and moving in the bracket hole. I simply drilled out the bushing and put a new bigger bolt, washer, and nut. After a balance and roto, No more DW!
Check that out DW is a common thing on jeeps. Seems like everyone has different causes/fixes that pertain to their certain jeeps.

ya i just change my tir rod ends, and got an alignment, now i found a bad ball joint so that looks like a fun job to do...they said my rear thrust was off and he could change it but on my lift the rear arms have adjustments, so i should be able to align that right?

Death wobble is common on the front of linked stuff. Dodges have the same setup and do the same stuff.
