Get the self leveling JB weld, that works better for floor boards.

when you figure out this magic easy way to do your floorboards, let me know, mine arent horrible, the worst is the driver feet, pass. has a little bit, but i eventually just need to patch it up, ditch my carpet and do a liner or something inside.

Ok so i got the drivers side cut out and figured while i was doing it i might as well take out all the rubber flooring and found trouble. someone had fixed rust in the back with bondo and steel mesh. now i have a big mess. I got a bunch of sheet metal from a friend and am going to start welding probably tuesday afternoon. I will have some cold ones ready if anyone wants to stop by and witness my attempt.

Some floor board trivia for ya: Henery Ford when ordering parts for his Model A's would spec out the size, thickness, and type of wood to be used in the shipping container that he would recieve his parts in. He would then have the boxes taken apart at the Ford factory and the wood planks would be installed in the floors of the cars coming off the assyembly line. Each fit perfectly with holes drilled for the screws and everything. Hense the Floor boards... Fo reeeeels. Our first major recycler.

That would be so pimp to have real wood floor boards. Especially if you use a nice Teak or Mahogany with a light stain to bring out the grain. Of course, then it might be to nice to wheel it.
