I found a pair of high pinion Dana 60s in a late 80s F350. What is a fair price?

Seriously I would think $1000 or less would be in the ballpark. Less if they dnt know what they have. MORE if they do know...

Rears are more available, fronts are getting harder to find (HP 60's). Rears range in price from $250 up and fronts (HP's) are in the $850 to $1500 range. If you could get them both for $1000 would be a decent deal.

One thing you need to look for in the '80"s front is to see if the spring perchs are cast or weded. Welded is better, the cast perches can be hard to deal with. Some 80's were IFS, so be on the look out. You want a solid axle, NO IFS!

Also 80's rears, some were semi-floating with C-clips. On the + side they were 35 spline.

The seller won't take less than $1250.00. I'll keep looking.
