Mary and I decided to make a little trip up to the mountains to play in the snow hit La Posta Truck Trail up the turn at Thing Valley, let the big dog play in the snow for the first time the photos don't do it justice how much fun she had. We saw one other vehicle a suburban trying to follow my tracks and found himself in the ditch. A quick strap on him and all was good.
From there headed out to the Candy Cottage in Boulevard yes it is open again so if you are in the area stop by and give your sweet tooth a fix. From there out to McCain Valley and the overlook to Carizo Gorge, then home with a look at all the knuckle heads along the highway playing

That looks like a great time.
I need to get off my butt and take my dog (and my Jeep) out to the snow before it all goes away.

Brandon it was a great day, didn't have to fight the crowds that we saw at Sunrise Hwy or at Japatul Valley Rd
