so i recently purchased this '72 waggy with original intentions of just using the title, but the body was in to nice of shape and everyone needs more projects. so im gonna try to build it up.  basic specs, amc 360, im converting to a t18 dana 20. replacing the closed knuckle dane 30 with drums is a  dana 44 with flat tops out of a cherokee i pulled this past weekend along with some rear springs to give the front a bit of flex.  holding up the rear i plan on runing some 63" chevy springs. im not really sure i know what im doing, but those seem to be a popular setup and im going to give it a shot.

how it started.

new spring in rough location

possible hanger and shackle angle

any and all input is appreciated. thanks!

Nice work man! ThumbUp  How much does that front spring shackle stick out form the front of the Jeep.  I think those springs are gonna ride pretty good for you.  Are those 63" chevy springs???

making some slow progress, got my other hangers in. also picked up a floating Dana 60 for the rear and abut half the parts to convert the front to an eight bolt to match thee rear  also a slightly larger front disk.  also the springs are waggy rears flipped backwards.  i plan to add a cut mainleaf to help accommodate the heavier front end and to help with the springs bending and breaking.  getting my clutch kit today, maybe get a tranny in soon.   i still need 63' chevy springs if anyone has any
