This was my first trip to  Coyote Canyon (in the day light atleast). My husband has been goin since he was little. It is an AWSOME place! Hangin it out by a river in the desert surrounded by blooming flowers has to be like the coolest thing ever! Not to mention the fact that you get to drive through the river. We made it through alright... the water was like a foot away from coming in the door at one point and the floor in the back seat got wet, so prepare to submerg! My explorer is pretty much stock and we made it in 4x4... but it is a ford... haha. I have a kick a$$ video of it. Other than that the trail is super easy and the senery is amazing. I guess just past where we were the trail turns to a rocky 4x only hill climb but theres some little waterfalls up there. neato. And for any of u with kids, our 3 year old had the best day of his life playin in the shallow water all day! It is just outta borrego springs, not that far and super worth the trip. I just wanted to share these pictures and tell anyone that hasnt been there how cool it is. ~flowers

Coyote Canyon is a lot of fun, great camping all the way back in. The last trip out there it was 114 and when I got back to the creek I just stopped, opened the door, got out and laid down in the creek, marvelous ~boat
