well i got it from an old guy about 3 years ago with only 96k on it and heres what she looked like. its got the 4.0 of course, automatic and the 242 t-case. it also came with all the skids and LSD rear.

but i wanted to make it look better so i got me some new rims

then i decided that the grey molding and fenders werent cutting it so i painted them black and removed the molding all together

then i got the windows tinted

and lastly i bought some BFG's for it

there are some other little things ive done to it like wire the e-fan to a switch swap out headrests, candied the tail lights, install a CB etc...

I've been wheeling with him, and in nearly stock form he got along the trail very well. I had an XJ before my Wrangler and other than some trails that even the Wrangler struggled on there's no where the XJ couldn't have gone. I love 'em.

It has a uni body  but I believe that someone makes a frame stiffner for it . They do have a nice wheel base

i like the muffler a lot. i didnt want a super loud one like a flowmaster. plus i like the straight through design and the fact that its welded stainless so itll last. i got mine from summit for $68 OTD. part number 10416

not sure of youre asking about the XJ, but i love it! my parents had a '92 laredo and when my turn came around to get a car i picked this one. i couldnt be happier with it, especially because it has my own touches to it. i really want to get an OME 2'' to complete it

here are some more XJ frame stiffeners for the front that could go along with the TNT ones.

the unibodies on these arent as weak as people make them out to me. i dont see a need for them unless youre running 35's and doing some serious flexing. but obviously they cant hurt.

so its been a while since ive updated this thread since cox wasnt working here, but now its up and running. well since ive last posted here, the jeep made a huge step of progress. heres what it looks like now

so about 6 weeks ago it got an RE 4.5" superflex with all the upgrades; superflex adjustable upper and lower control arms, full leaf packs, HD trackbar and mount, and monotube shocks. i also wired a new CB antenna and mounted it to the bumper.
