Forgot to update this...

So, actually up until a few night's ago I was having the same break issues... I took it to CC shortly after my last post where I thought I had fixed, and same problem, maybe even worse?   Took it home, bleed it a million times more and samething  dooh  I gutting the proportioning valve and still no break pressure and had also reversed the lines ( front res to rear breaks and rear res to front, that's the way the corvette M/C works)  and STILL no pressure.  I was about to give up on it, tried one last thing before I was going to buy a new one ton M/C.  I read that adjusting the push rod just a bit might help?  Well it did! I lengthened it by about  3/4 of an inch and now I can lock up the all fours if needed.  clap The rears lock up slightly before the fronts, I'll get a proportioning valve to get that dialed in.  Feels like a new rig to me being able to stop on a dime if needed, Awesome!

Be careful... i did the same trick on a ford truck awhile back and after 1/4 mile drive the brakes overheated and lock up on me.  Turns out they were dragging just enough to make heat.  Keep an eye on it.

It's funny you mention that.  After my test drive I was checking for leaks and noticed that the rear rotors seemed hot.  Didn't think too much of it, because I was being hard on them, but glad you mentioned it.  I'm going wheeling next weekend, and will have to keep an eye on it, thanks Dave.   Were you able to do anything to correct it?  I'm thinking maybe I should have tried just a half an inch?

If the rod is too long it will prevent the piston from returning fully and can cause a pressure build up.  I had that exact issue. The brakes were working great but after stopping a few times they started dragging more and more.  If that happens a real quick emergency fix is to loosen the master cyl mounting bolts a couple turns.

The pushrod adjustment is within a pretty narrow range; a turn or two makes a big difference. Normally you would adjust until the rod just touches the piston then back off about 1/2 turn.

That makes sense, thanks.  I'm going to mess with it some more this weekend before I take it out.   Thanks guys! Thanks
